Part of our holistic approach is a focus on your health, wellness, and well-being. These are important and necessary at every stage of life, especially through this complex stress-filled application/admission journey. 

You will be given actionable tips and tools to build a customized wellness plan to optimize your overall health and well-being depending on whether you are applying to college, Law School, Medical School, the Health Professions, Residency, or if you are a supportive family member who could benefit from managing your own stress better.

Kaushal B. Nanavati, MD

has nearly 30 years of experience in guiding people through stressful situations to help them navigate the journey and manage stress levels during the application cycle and beyond. Dr. Nanavati will offer his CORE 4 of Wellness Program which is a comprehensive wellness advising package encompassing stress management, spiritual wellness, nutrition, and physical exercise. He will offer five (5) online interactive group zoom sessions. You will have the opportunity to get personalized feedback on your goals.

01. Practical Goal Setting

Helping you to gain clarity of your goals while utilizing a framework for success. A unique system designed utilizing the SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats to your success), SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-based), and PDSA cycles (Plan, Do, Study, Assess).

02. Stress Management

Dr. Nanavati will help you focus on the things you can control (practical and personal application), identify who is in your front row (developing a support system), and develop an understanding of school/life balance leading to sustained happiness

03. Spiritual Wellness

Dr. Nanavati will train you in mindfulness through Meditation and Affirmations/Intentions, how to manage your stress Hormones through Deep Breathing, and Positive mindset training (case based and situational).

04. Nutrition

Understanding the impact of food on physical, emotional, and mental health and what to eat during stressful times, what to avoid, and why?

05. Physical Exercise

The benefits to improving concentration, focus, energy, mood, and mindset and what to do, when, how much?
